On January 24, the Cleburne Railroaders hosted the Texas Rangers' World Series trophy. In addition to a chance to see the trophy, fans had the opportunity to meet the Raildoaders' new manager, Pete Incaviglia, and get autographs. I brought him a baseball card, which he gladly autographed for me.

Rich Hill
Rich Hill, MLB's oldest active player, was one of the better pitchers in baseball from 2015 through 2021. Active since 2005, the veteran lefty has a lifetime record of 90-73.
A couple weeks ago, I went to a few antique stores in Gladewater. I found a baseball signed by Rich Hill at my last stop, picking it up for $12.

Marty Marion
Marty Marion was one of the greatest defensive shortstops of all time. An eight time all-star, he captured National League MVP honors in 1944, helping the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series.
For my Baptism day this past August, my parents presented me with an autographed 1991 Topps Archives [1953] Marty Marion baseball card.
Brian Downing
Brian Downing was one of the most underrated players of his era. In 20 seasons from 1973 through 1992, Downing slashed .267 / .370 / .425 with 275 home runs and over 2,000 hits. Still productive at age 41, he was one of the first sluggers to introduce heavy weight training into his workouts.
During my last visit to Gingerbread Antiques in Waxahachie, I grabbed a signed 1990 Donruss Diamond Kings Brian Downing baseball card.
Mel Parnell
Mel Parnell was a lefthanded pitcher in the Majors from 1947 through 1956, all with the Boston Red Sox. He twice won over 20 games in a season, won an ERA Title in 1949, and threw a no-hitter in 1956.
