Mel Parnell

Mel Parnell was a lefthanded pitcher in the Majors from 1947 through 1956, all with the Boston Red Sox. He twice won over 20 games in a season, won an ERA Title in 1949, and threw a no-hitter in 1956.
At Gingerbread Antiques in Waxahachie, I picked up an autographed 1955 Topps Mel Parnell reprint baseball card.
