Omar Vizquel was a star shortstop in the MLB from 1989 through 2012. Known for his fielding, he was a three time all-star and won 11 Gold Glove awards. He was also no slouch at the bat, collecting 2,877 hits, including 456 doubles.
One of my uncles on my dad's side was a true autograph hound. He used to get $5 Oakland A's tickets and get several autographs at a time. One year for Christmas, he gave me a signed 1995 Topps Stadium Club Omar Vizquel baseball card.
